Thanks for your interest in joining the CFB Film Room team!
We’re in the process of building our team of NFL draft analysts to put together a draft guide for the 2017 NFL Draft. As a member of our team, you’ll have access to our database of advanced stats, training for charting our stats and assistance in developing scouting reports.
If you’re interested in joining us, here’s what you’ll need to know…
We will split up our team so each analyst is in charge of scouting specific positions. Expect to write about 20-30 full scouting reports (~500 words) and another 20-30 shorter reports (~250 words). On average you will likely spend 2 to 5 hours per week between now and the NFL draft, but there will be minimal deadlines during the process, allowing you to space out the work as needed.
We aren’t offering a “salary” so we can’t say exactly what the compensation will be, however, the profits from the draft guide will be shared evenly between the analysts. How much money that turns into will depend on our collective effort to spread the word. But if you’re interested in this position for the money, then this probably won’t be a great fit for you. We’re a young company and this will be our first NFL Draft guide, and we don’t expect to turn a significant profit. We’re looking for people interested in developing their skills, adding some published scouting reports to their resume and helping to grow the CFB Film Room brand.
